Healesville Sanctuary will mark the Black Saturday anniversary with one minute's silence on Sunday at noon.

Visitors will also be invited to wear a yellow ribbon which will be available at the Sanctuary this weekend, courtesy of Spotlight.

Tens of millions of animals perished in the Victorian bushfires and injured wildlife was brought to Australian Wildlife Health Centre at Healesville Sanctuary, many for intensive care. The veterinary team acted as a triage point and provided specialist help to wildlife carers and vets in fire affected regions.

The Sanctuary continues to care for bushfire-affected Victorian native wildlife.
