Melbourne Zoo offers engaging Later Years programs that allow students to focus more clearly on areas of interest related to their future schooling and career pathways.
Students are able to take ownership of their own learning with support from experts, and experience real-life situations facing Zoo staff.

  • Bite Me! Carnivore Evolution

    Explore evolutionary theories, selection pressures and adaptations while examining some of our most impressive and intimidating animals- the carnivores! 
    Students will visit our cats for amazing insights, examine carnivore skulls, and come face to face with a snake and one of our cuter carnivores, the Tawny Frogmouth.
