Newest zoo member taking it all in his stride
Visitors will soon be able to meet the latest addition to the family at Werribee Open Range Zoo: Harold, an 18 month old giraffe from Monarto Zoo in South Australia.
Harold made the 700 kilometre road trip on December 29 and is currently in quarantine. But in a few weeks he will be stretching his legs in the Lower Savannah with four other giraffe: Tony, Kinta, Amani and Thembi.
His older brother, Kona, will be joining the growing herd later this month. We'll keep you posted when the brothers are reunited.
