Children's Dance and Musical Wonderland coming soon!
Werribee Open Range Zoo is THE zoo for little kids with three exciting new activities for children under five years old.
An imaginative interactive dance centre called Village Dance Party, a new musical Junior Safari bus tour and a fun-filled Mini Zoo Keeper experience will be launched on Tuesday 23 March.
Village Dance Party encourages children and light-hearted adults to dance and sing along to a colourful musical show featuring silhoutted dancing characters on a large screen. The catchy tunes will get the kids up and grooving!
Village Dance Party will be a free activity, included in the zoo's general admission price (children under four years old are free).
Mini Zoo Keepers is a 1.5 hour fun-filled experience for pre-school children. This magical journey around the Zoo includes face-to-face encounters with many animals including meerkats, frogs, lizards, snakes and possums. Special highlights include a behind-the-scenes giraffe encounter. Tours run every Tuesday. Price is $40 for adults and $40 for children. Bookings are essential, Tel. 1300 ZOOSVIC.
Junior Safari is an energetic and playful 35-minute bus tour aimed at under five-year-olds and their families. Puppets, music and lots of amazing animal action are just some of the highlights of this exciting new tour. Junior Safari will run daily during the school holiday period and then every Tuesday. The tour is included in the general admission price.
