The Zoos Victoria Foundation is a department of Zoos Victoria and is charged with raising funds to ensure that our three great zoos - Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo - are amongst the world's best zoo-based conservation organisations.

Funds raised by the Foundation help Zoos Victoria achieve its vision of saving wildlife and wild places together, by enhancing the ability of the organisation to foster a passion for wildlife, provide engaging experiences, and support local and international conservation programs.

Aligned with the values of Zoos Victoria, the Foundation is working towards a high level of sustainability in our practices. As of April 2009, we are 'going green' in our activities; communicating with all our donors personally and electronically
