Grassy Gurus provides students with the opportunity to be involved in vital habitat regeneration following their visit to the zoo. Participating schools can take real action for our state's most endangered habitat: the grasslands of the Victorian Volcanic Plains. By planting the native grasses provided, students can contribute to a growing habitat corridor across the state. This simple program empowers students and allows them to see the beneficial outcomes of their own actions.
